The hammer drill and cordless hand drill were developed as a design language study for the USA and Asian markets. LG developed OEM products for other companies' tool brands, and they wanted a unique design language to guide their internal design team in developing an LG branded family of products for the global market.
This design won an IDEA Bronze Award in IDSA's annual design competition.
