The Gen2 was designed to refresh the aesthetics and technology of Clark's line of lift trucks, which were on the market for over ten years. The truck was designed with a modular chassis to mount country and market specific operator cabs during production. The modular chassis also permitted Clark to build both a standard and deluxe truck on the same platform.
